Abstract :
Product integrated innovation is integrating the existing functions to create a new product that satisfying the customers´ multi-function needs. The method for product integrated innovation is discussed. Its core is functional combination. The principles of functional combination are put forward. Contradictions in functional combination and its solving based on TRIZ are discussed. A design process model for product integrated innovation based on functional combination and TRIZ is proposed. A case study illustrates the innovation process.
