Abstract :
Professor Jin Au Kong is the head a onf electromagnetics group in the Electrical Engineering Department at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. From my interactions both with him and his present and former students, his prime focus seems to be teaching graduate students how to do quality research, an emphasis that often seems to be missing at some other institutions. This book is an honest reflection of his teaching philosophy and as such deserves the attention of those of us engaged in graduate electromagnetic instruction.
