Abstract :
Peter Bruce Johns, Founder and Managing Editor of the International Journal of Numerical Modeling, Professor and Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronic. Engineering at the University of Nottingham, pioneer of the TLM method, our colleague and friend, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Sunday, June 19, 1988, at the age of 49. His professional career is briefly reviewed.
