            Abstract : 
The authors demonstrate an efficient quasi-phase-matched optical parametric oscillator (OPO) using periodically poled MgO-doped LiNbO3 with a 30 mm interaction length and a 0.5 mm thickness. The OPO generates signal and idler wavelengths tunable in the range of 1.48 to 1.59 and 3.78 to 3.21 μm, respectively, by using seven different poling periods
