Abstract :
It is shown that discrete-time queueing networks with bursty traffic modelled as interrupted, two-state Markovian arrival processes can have a product form equilibrium distribution provided certain process-dependent conditions are satisfied. These conditions are derived for the interrupted Poisson process and the interrupted binomial process
