Abstract :
IN a paper1 reviewing the subject of transcontinental telephone communications in Canada reference was made to the long-term relief plans of the Trans-Canada Telephone System. It was pointed out that this envisaged a coast-to-coast radio-relay system carrying television and L-carrier facilities. The construction of this system is now well advanced and is scheduled for completion in 1958.
