Abstract :
Probe-fed cylindrical dielectric resonator antennas (DRAs) are investigated by varying their aspect ratio and permittivity to maximize their impedance bandwidth while maintaining an acceptable radiation pattern. With an optimum combination of aspect ratio and permittivity, a maximum bandwidth of approximately 46% is attainable.
