Abstract :
The authors describe a new decoding algorithm, the extended Kasami algorithm. It is shown to be attractive for cyclic block codes of rates between 1/t and 2/t. Compared with the minimum weight decoding algorithm, it has low decoding complexity and consistent decoding time, regardless of the value of Eb/N0
