Abstract :
The spectral and temporal characteristics of an all-epitaxial long wavelength vertical cavity surface emitting laser are explored using femtosecond optical pumping. The influence of the transverse mode on the dynamics of these lasers is demonstrated experimentally and analysed theoretically
