Abstract :
The authors demonstrate active modelocking at a 102 GHz repetition frequency using a modelocked laser integrated with an electroabsorption modulator. Pulse generation at 2.4 ps is performed by half frequency (51 GHz) modulation. A low timing jitter of 0.33 ps is measured using a mixing technique
