Abstract :
A simple configuration for the linear homodyne detection of fast phase modulation in the presence of relatively slow polarisation/phase drift in the signal beam is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. It uses adaptive photodetectors which are based on principles of dynamic photorefractive holographic recording (two-wave mixing or photo-EMF effect)
