Abstract :
The 16 papers in this special issue focus on broadband access networks. The first six papers address various issues related to wireline access networks, the seventh paper covers PON-WiMax integration, and the rest of the papers discuss aspects of different wireless networks such as WiMax, WiFi, 4G access networks, and cognitive radio networks.
