Abstract :
The use of different models to interpret results obtained from thermally stimulated depolarisation current experiments discussed. It is shown that the compensation temperature Tc introduced in the TSDC model (compensation law) and the fictive equilibrium temperature T fi used to characterise the thermal model are identical. The discussion is illustrated by different measurements carried out on a polyethylene terephthalate (PET)
