  • Abstract
Conditions necessary for controlled magnetic suspension are reviewed, and various types and configurations of systems are described. The principal components of these systems are discussed. The use of magnetic suspension and balance systems in wind tunnels is then considered, and some aerodynamic results are examined.<>
