  • Abstract
    A canonical ARMAX model for nonlinear systems is introduced. An observations-weighted optimal controller is then derived which provides nonlinear compensation and minimises a cost function including tracking error and control signal terms. A stabilising optimal control solution is obtained under the assumed conditions
