Abstract :
The authors report on investigation of the effect of coherent crosstalk in a newly fabricated 16×16 channel uniform-loss and cyclic-frequency arrayed-waveguide grating (ULCF-AWG), and its application to a 16×16 interconnection network. Its low-crosstalk and uniform-loss characteristics is confirmed and the potential for 48×48-channel interconnection is demonstrated
