Reply to “Comments on `Quantization Noise as Superposition of Frequency Modulated Sinusoids´ ”

The author acknowledges that the possibility of regarding the quantization noise as superposition of phase-modulated sinusoids has been described previously in the work of Claasen and Jongepier. However, to the defense of the author and the anonymous reviewers, that work has been cited only 13 times since its publication and the date of the submission of the paper of Zierhofer, and the citations do not hint at the relationship between frequency or phase modulation and quantization noise.
