Abstract :
Conditions for formation of the double-layer structure at the interface of a complex plasma/electron-ion plasma due to the presence of strongly coupled microparticles is theoretically investigated in a weakly collisional discharge. The result is of consequence for all problems involving the coexistence of different plasma regions, the sharp plasma boundaries, void formation, etc.
