Abstract :
While the rest of the world´s consumer tech industry flounders because of the downturn, Korea´s is flourishing. And since the establishment of the Republic of Korea in the south, the country´s industrial achievement has been spectacular particularly in the area of consumer electronics and its large consumer electronics companies such as LG and Samsung appear to be successfully challenging the dominance of Japanese companies like Sony and Panasonic.
