Abstract :
A direct modulation mixer-less V-band radio transmitter architecture together with some key performance metrics is presented. The transmit assembly is designed to cover the frequency band allocation for the forthcoming 57-65-GHz broadband wireless communication system. The system is capable of operating with up to 1-Gbps signal rate and can produce binary/quadrature phase shift keying (BPSK/QPSK) and offset-QPSK (OQPSK) modulation.
