We are CISer... [President´s Message]

It took four years for me to hop from the other page to this side . What an honor it is for me to follow in the footsteps of many greats in this community from its very origin of NNC to NNS to CIS today! Allow me to pay my highest regards to our Presidents from the past: Robert J. Marks (1990-´91), Russell Eberhart (1992-´93), Patrick Simpson (1994), Walter Karplus (1995-´96), James Bezdek (1997-´98), Cliff Lau (1999-´00), Enrique Ruspini (2001), Piero Bonissone (2002), Evangelia Micheli-Tzanakou (2003), Jacek Zurada (2004-´05), Vincenzo Piuri (2006-´07), and David B. Fogel (2008-´09). Without their dedication to lay out the solid grounds (which is impossible for me to recount each milestone here), we would not be here as a family to share this sense of belonging. I have learned a very important lesson here with my own experience: as a loyal and devoted member of this society, one day you will be the next President of CIS!
