Abstract :
The normalized transverse current distributions are obtained for microstrip lines on anisotropic substrates, and their dependence on ε*y, w/h, and the anisotropy ratio AR is explained. These distributions are classified into five cases. There are cases in which the normalized transverse current distribution can be approximated by that obtained already for the cases of isotropic substrate
