Abstract :
The paper describes a method of designing point-type transistor switching circuits so that relatively large direct currents (of the order of several tens of milliamperes) can be handled with a voltage drop of only one or two volts. Several practical circuits are described, and it is shown that such circuits can be made adequately tolerant of variations in transistor characteristics.
