Abstract
This volume consists of 19 literature reviews written by experts in a variety of fields in engineering and biomedicine. Topics covered include tissue engineering and repair, biomaterials, robotics, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, DNA delivery, mechanotransduction, and molecular machines. In most of the reviews, the authors present the history and current state of research, providing background information for those unfamiliar with the topic.
