An efficient algorithm to find lattice chains

This work proposes an efficient algorithm to find all lattice chains between two given lattices. Such a problem arises in many places, and it is rather important in multistage sampling conversion. The proposed method is more efficient than others presented in the literature. Its striking simplicity makes it often suitable for manual computation. Sampling conversion between HDTV and SDTV is considered as an application example
