Abstract :
In this correspondence, a direct method to obtain an orthogonal realization of an allpass transfer function from the entries of the Jury table or the Schur-Cohn test is presented. The performance of this orthogonal realization using fixed- or floating-point implementation is discussed. Based on this formulation, simple formulae for the coefficient sensitivity and output roundoff noise variances are obtained. The results are illustrated with an example
