Abstract :
In this correspondence, a fast algorithm for two-dimensional (2-D) digital filters´ spectral transformations is developed. The whole algorithm is based on the 1-D and 2-D Horner´s form. All the considered spectral transformations are arbitrary 2-D rational transformations. The method is successfully applied in an example concerning 2-D digital filter design
