Abstract :
The wideband impulse noise modelling over the subscriber loop recently conducted over the German telephone network is extended to the narrowband scenario. The narrowband impulse noise is resolved into in-phase and quadrature components and each component modelled as a generalised error distribution. Simulation is used to verify the theory
