Thank you. In my opinion, it is a remarkable book. Its span is enormous. It covers the mathematical methods of modern control theory, intricate details of color management systems, and process controls and physics of a typical digital printing system. Paper path design with complex scheduling algorithms was considered out of scope. The material covered in this book is based on 30 years of combined experience in teaching and practice by my coauthor, Sohail Dianat, and myself. The technology used in the imaging devices is interdisciplinary and requires a basic understanding of the entire process, principles of electronic imaging, device level technology, and controls.
