Thank you. I am very proud to serve under this capacity. The journal is in good shape thanks to my predecessors. The exceptional support and help by Frank Doyle made a smooth editorship transition possible. My challenge is to strengthen even more the leadership of the journal as the major venue for cutting-edge research on control systems technology while trying to streamline as much as possible the overall review and production process. Let me extract some excerpts from my first editorial published in the March 2010 issue of TCST.
