Abstract :
As more and more organizations consider adopting private cloud, how to assess the readiness of moving legacy application systems to the cloud environment is a key issue faced by the practitioners. There is lack of comprehensive view on the factors affecting cloud migration at the system level. In this paper, a holistic cloud migration readiness decision framework along with the business, technical and risk perspective has been developed and aim to investigate the suitability of migrating enterprise application systems to the cloud environment based on the fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) approach. This paper can advance new knowledge accumulation in the field of research on the private cloud adoption and implementation.
