Abstract :
Methods for analyzing multigrounded systems incorporating most known parameters in technically accepted equations for solving distribution circuit voltage problems involving circuit unbalance are presented. Several distribution problems that are not generally identified using routine load flow programs but usually surface through customer complaints are shown to be easily diagnosed using powerful analytical software now available for personal computers. Detailed calculations are described and can be used to evaluate such universal and diverse problems as motor heating due to voltage unbalance or stray voltage on dairy farm equipment
