Abstract :
Time continues to fly by, and so does the unfolding of events for the Antennas and Propagation Society. There have been some important changes in the administrative and committee structure of AP-S. Our 1988 President, Gary Brown, continues to be active as an AdCom member and as Chairman of the Nominating Committee which will keep AdCom moving forward with its usual excellence. We owe Gary a debt of gratitude for his dedicated leadership and never-failing concern for the best interests of the Society. He continues to be available to share his wisdom and experience. Dan Schaubert is planning a sabbatical out of the country later in the year, which calls for winding up his duties as Secretary-Treasurer. We are very fortunate to have been able to persuade Ja Schindler to take over these duties, and look &ward to continuation of the highest level of service to the AP-S in the pattern that Dan has set. Many thanks, Dan, for all your hard work and good judgment in handling the wealth of detail associated with this demanding job. The chairmanship of Chapter Activities will now be in a state of transition to Yahya Rahmat-Samii.
