Abstract :
Taken account of the fact that magnetostatic waves are highly dispersive, a new equation model for magnetostatic wave (MSW) envelope solitons with the third-order dispersion effects has been derived. Based on the new equation model, numerical calculations have been performed for single-envelope, two-envelope and three-envelope solitons. It has been found that the third-order dispersion has an influence upon the formation and propagation of MSW envelope solitons through effecting the velocity of each individual soliton therein
