Abstract :
A state-space model of self-controlled synchronous motor was established with finite DC inductance and main flux saturation effects considered. Using the model, the excitation regulation of the self-controlled synchronous motor under the control of constant margin-angle and constant main flux level was investigated to enhance the overload capability and to ensure the operation stability
