Abstract :
Specifically for the non-linear system in a network environment, the input quantisation and packet dropouts are considered simultaneously in this study. The quantiser adopted here is a finite-level logarithmic one and the packet dropout process of the channel is modelled as the independent identically distributed case. The state-feedback controller of the non-linear continuous system, which can be globally exponentially stabilised by `standard` state feedback is designed, and the mean stability of the closed-loop system is analysed. A numerical simulation is presented to show the effectiveness of the main result.
