Abstract :
The capacity loss of the joint CDMA/PRMA protocol owing to imperfections in the power control loop is obtained. It is shown that the capacity loss percentile is similar to that observed in switched-circuit DS-CDMA systems, and that 3-state vocoders present gain in relation to 2-state vocoders
