Abstract :
The paper describes a store for use with a computer requiring parallel access to 10-digit numbers at 10 microsec intervals. It is designed for a capacity of 1024 such numbers. Details of reading, writing and selection circuits are included. In each case the circuits are transformer-coupled to the magnetic-core matrix. Preliminary experiments on individual cores and on an experimental store are described.
