Abstract :
About 60 years ago, George Orwell wrote a famous novel, Nineteen Eighty-Four, about a future Oceania where everyone is under constant surveillance by Big Brother, the embodiment of the government. Posters of "Big Brother Is Watching You" may seem chilling to us, but in the novel everyone is conditioned through state-controlled propaganda and thought control to think of Big Brother with affection and worship.
