Abstract :
Integrated optical true time delay two bit phase shifters for 10 GHz RF frequency have been fabricated on Z-cut LiNbO3. Cascaded optical delay lines are connected by crossed-waveguide switches in a scaleable design. The devices exhibited 8-9 dB fibre-coupled insertion loss at 1.3 μm wavelength. The RF phase shifts were measured in the 9-12.5 GHz range
