Abstract :
A compact microstrip dual-band bandpass filter with controllable bandwidth for each passband and good frequency selectivity is proposed. The proposed dual-band bandpass filter has five transmission zeros. The transmission zeros are generated by each dual-mode resonator and input/output port cross-coupling. The dual-band bandpass filter application is designed for 2.4/5.2 GHz WLAN. Experimental measurements are presented to validate the theory.
