Abstract :
Because small variations in radiation doses can cause significant changes in clinical outcome, the calculation accuracy is a major factor in the success or failure of a cancer treatment course. This article describes how stochastic, Monte Carlo radiation transport methods can predict radiation doses for cancer patients
