            Abstract : 
The paper deals with a new method of measuring the input admittance of a triode at ultra-high frequencies. In contrast to the method described by S. D. Robertson1 and others2, 3, 4 the proposed method uses a combination of resonance and standing-wave methods with the advantages of simplicity of operation and the feasibility of measurement with large signal input. Measurements have been carried out with a u.h.f. triode of type 2C39A in the 2.7 Gc/s band for input powers up to 3 watts.
