Abstract
Different morphologies of cluster growth of ZnO nanoflowers have been fabricated via the two-step sol-gel method with different concentrations of seed solution and growth solution. The morphologies of the as-obtained ZnO nanoflower are characterised by using a scanning electron microscope, X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and high-resolution TEM. The formation mechanism of the cluster growth of a ZnO nanoflower has also been investigated. The results show that the shape of the finally obtained cluster growth of a ZnO nanoflower can be well controlled by the adjustment of the concentration of seed and growing solution.
