Abstract :
Technology management is a topic of increasing importance as technology itself becomes more significant in the running of economic, educational and business institutions. This results in a competitive situation which demands effectiveness and efficiency for commercial survival. The key to success is good management. People have much greater difficulty solving the human and organisational problems than the technical ones. It seems that society is very effective at solving technical problems but comparatively poor at motivating and organising individuals to employ their technical expertise in the best way for the common good. In attempting to improve this situation, the three most important aspects requiring management attention are: people, goals and change
