Abstract :
An ultra-wideband 45° phase shifter based on a simplified composite right/left-handed transmission line is presented. The measured -10 dB return loss bandwidth covers the range of 2.6-7.8 GHz (100%), and the maximum insertion loss within the frequency range is 0.8 dB. The measured phase shift variation is 45° ± 2.5° within 2.9-8.9 GHz and the maximum 45° ± 5° bandwidth covers 2.6-9.4 GHz (113.3%).
