Abstract :
A method of optimal material design is used to control the distribution of an electric field within a lossy layer in single-mode rectangular waveguide. Analytical and computational procedures specifying the optimal placing and micro-geometry of composite controlling materials are suggested to control and optimize microwave heating in waveguide systems
