Abstract :
Two recent articles on array antenna pattern synthesis [l], [3] in this Newsletter suggest that the Woodward-Lawson method should no longer be taught and should disappear from our textbooks. One recent article [2] in this Newsletter suggests that both the Woodward-Lawson and Orchard [4] synthesis procedure should continue to be taught.
