Abstract
This work presents a convergence procedure in the electromagnetic computing problem taking into account hysteresis. It is based on the separation of magnetic field into two parts, applied and demagnetization. The ferromagnetic hysteresis is described by the Preisach model. This model is integrated in the finite element method (FEM) in order to resolve magneto-dynamic problems. the convergence problem around the critical zone of the hysteresis curve is resolved within an iterative algorithm. In addition, an optimal relaxation parameter is determined
