Abstract :
In this paper, calculation of the current distribution in a massive conductive body connected to external source current leads is examined; how to characterize the combined structure, what are the intrinsic global constraints and boundary conditions, and in what way these may be imposed. An h-oriented hybrid method is exploited, which enables one to incorporate the field problem easily into a large system of conductors. In this study the external current leads drive the problem by providing us directly with the sources-namely input currents or voltages
